A steady stream of cars flow by a busy street corner in North Phoenix. Finding shade from a tree under the hot Arizona sun, Lea Martin holds a paint brush and follows wherever her imagination takes her.
Martin lived on the streets for five years. But, on the same street, she now displays her artworks. She takes donations from anyone who likes any of her paintings. And, there have been a few of them.
